Sunday, April 22nd 2:00 – 3:30 p.m. In celebration of The Color of Water, award-winning jazz saxophonist and Tierra Records recording artist, Shenole Latimer, will be performing along with piano accompaniment on our Steinway grand piano. The performance will include various jazz standards, as well as some original compositions. Free tickets will be available beginning Saturday, March 3rd at 9:00 a.m. Eat a Good BookEat a Good BookThursday, April 19th 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. Eat a good book lately? Bring in your favorite book and illustrate the cover (or a scene or character from it) onto a large cookie using edible paints with toothpicks and brushes. Check out one of the new books at the Library for inspiration and ideas. There is a fee of $7.00 due when you register beginning Saturday, March 3 at 9:00 a.m. Please present your Islip Library Card when registering for this program. | |
